Conceived as a complementary space to Casa Vieux Colombier, this attic studio combines a workspace with occasional guest accommodation. The project is organised around a single bespoke furniture system that responds to the geometry of the roof while preserving the perception of a single open space.
Designed as a continuous architectural system, the furniture integrates storage, a workspace, an integrated kitchenette, wardrobes and a vertically folding bed concealed within the oak cabinetry. A sink hidden beneath a removable Corian cover allows the worktop to remain uninterrupted when not in use, while the room functions as a workplace during the day and transforms into a comfortable guest bedroom at night.
At the far end of the space, the bathroom extends this same architectural language. An angled glass shower enclosure follows the geometry of the roof, maintaining visual continuity and reinforcing the perception of depth. The combination of oak, white lacquer and white Corian reinforces the perception of a single continuous element, where furniture, storage and space merge into a single architectural intervention.
